Winner of the €350 ($377) main tournament at the first-ever European women-only poker festival, Queens of Tallinn 2023, was Marta Porter of Lithuania.
Over 150 participants from 15 different nations participated in the Queens of Tallinn festival, which was organised by OlyBet. There were eleven activities spread out throughout the four days of the festival, with ten of them reserved just for women who love poker.
Eight players competed for a total of €19,246 in the final event, which was the culmination of a three-day main tournament with 65 buy-ins.
Having been in the lead from the beginning of the tournament, Porter was able to keep it up and win, taking home €6,167. Müür took second place and received €4,050, while Indre Martoviciute of Lithuania took third place and received €2,740.
An accomplished Estonian player named Imre Leibold took home the trophy in the festival's Ladies and Gentlemen competition, which was open to players of both sexes.
The first women's poker festival was an effort to provide more chances for female players to compete against one another, according to Christer Larsson, director of poker at the OlyBet Group. The encouraging comments from so many ladies have made our hearts sing.
Recent studies conducted in partnership between public relations agency Hatch and online poker room 888poker show that the number of female poker players in the UK increased by a substantial 22% in 2022.
As of late, OlyBet has become the BKT EuroCup and Turkish Airlines EuroLeague's Premium Partner through the 2024–25 season, continuing their partnership with Euroleague Basketball.
